Reader Requests

After almost 6 years of blogging and more than 1500 posts, I'm looking for suggestions and ideas about how to make this blog more useful and informative to all its readers. What do you want to know? Are there other topics I should cover? Should the layout be re-designed? Should the blog be more interactive? You can leave a comment on this post, or send me an email using the link in the right hand column.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Tim

Love your Blog Tim, great posts..
How about 1)to create a suggestion box/forum where readers can reach you anytime...2)How about a citizen section where readers submmit photos or videos of any hot topic or the photo of the day in El Salvador?? can be?? 3)changing the layout would be a great idea, you have had this for a long time 4)interacting would be great idea as well, polls? surveys? 5)How about a spanish section where the most important/hot posts are in English/Spanish 6)< I am not a facebook fan> but since it has a huge community, how about to create an account "tim el salvador" and facebook users are able to comment in your blog using their facebook account.... just a few ideas...

I and my Suffolk University students who take a Salvadoran history class then travel there every year use this blog regularly, especially b/c I assign it. I like the facebook idea b/c all my students do much of their cyber work through it.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. You'll see some changes in the next few days. Nothing major, but hopefully they will make the site even more useful for people looking for information on all topics Salvadoran.

Your blog is a great resource for El Salvador news in English, Tim, and I really appreciate it! I don't have any suggestions for changes, I'm just grateful for the time, knowledge, and thoughtfulness that makes this such a reliable and interesting blog.

Tim, you need to include Salvadorans who do not speak English. There is a world of opinion you could release if you went to
1. your own domain.
2.wordpress
3. bilingual plugin qtranslate that we use.
4. buddypress
