Hijos de la Guerra

The plague of the gang Mara Salvatrucha is the subject of a new feature length documentary film titled Hijos de la Guerra (Children of the War). From the film's web site:
Hijos de la Guerra tells the story of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), an international Hispanic street gang founded by Salvadoran civil war refugees, which the U.S government singles out as the fastest-growing and most violent gang in the country. The film explores the individual motivations behind gang membership and the ensuing explosion of fratricidal violence, as well as the complex role of social and government policy in attempting to contain and yet unintentionally encouraging the
spread of the gang.

Please stop saying this Gangs come from El Salvador, you need to study your History. This Gang members were iniciated in L.A. by Chicanos "Mexican American", Then salvadoreans formed their Gang to defend themself from others, All this missed undersatnding through the Media and everywhere else is driving our Country Mad. I'm Originaly from El Salvador, I'm 34 and I was in El Salvador during the Civil War, after the War was over there was Peace. And this MS-13 and stupid Gang names that appear on the media; iniciated in L.A. By CHICANOS "MEXICAN AMERICAN"............

KNOW YOUR HISTORY BEFORE POSTING.
